 BST's DV-1.5R wireline retrievable 1½" dummy valve is an isolation device that prevents communication between the tubing and the casing in a side pocket gas lift mandrel. The valve has two sets of packing which straddle and pack off the casing ports in the side pocket mandrel. The valve is fixed in the 1½" pocket using a standard wireline retrievable 1½" top latch. Communication between the tubing and the casing is positively sealed off until the dummy valve is retrieved from the side pocket mandrel by standard wireline methods. Features:
