"A" Style Seating Nipples
"A" style seating nipples are precision nipples containing a fine finished
seal bore to accept and seal standing valves, and are normally used in
conjunction with equalizing or non-equalizing standing valves to prevent
produced fluid in the tubing from being forced down into the well bore when high
pressure gas is injected under a slug of fluid.
Features:

Standard materials are 1014-1018 and 4130-4140 carbon steel, with 300 series
stainless steel, 13 Cr, and other premium materials optional.
•
I.D. seal bore is finished to 32 Ra or better.
•
Sizes other than those listed and coiled tubing versions also available.
